Entrance foyer – 3d model

The foyer of the Church Community Centre and Hans-Bader Saal is a lounge area for visitors and employees and offers space for a variety of uses (meetings, classes for young people, celebrations, assemblies). The room looked outdated and lacking in charm, and it was upgraded with reasonable cost. The new space has been very well received by the many different guests and now presents itself as a place with appeal.

The main idea was to provide light and colour by using the surfaces of walls and floors as large canvases for the creation of a geometric abstract painting. In the reception area, strips of colour (five different ones) were applied on the floor and the old wardrobe (now a glass cabinet and wardrobe). Fiberglass carpeting was used to carry out this concept. In the co-working space area, the geometric composition was materialised with paint directly on the walls, bringing new life to the old fireplace. The lighting concept follows the abstraction principle with cylindrical and spherical lamps that offer different possibilities of configuration.
