This work suggests a dialogue between the two meanings of the word Illustration.
The act and the effect of illustrating and the philosophical and cultural School of the XVIII century, whose ideas have influenced education until these days.
The old school desk is the symbol of an educational model. This outlined, illustrated, object shows virtuality and void. A void which announces new possibilities.
